Help us bring the Opera browser to millions of mobile phones and other devices made by leading Chinese companies. Enable people across the world to enjoy the best Internet experience and Web technology on mobile phones, set-top boxes, portable media players, connected TVs, web tablets and other devices.
Responsibilities
One of your primary tasks will be to ensure that all Opera Software products adhere to our vision - "the best Internet experience on any device".
You will be a part of our skilled team of software testers, working closely with developers and project managers to ensure that we can release all our products with the best possible quality.
Writing and executing test plans
Writing documentation, such as test reports
Reporting defects and issues proactively
Managing, analyzing and maintaining bug reports
Communicating and following up with customers directly
Product testing on a variety of mobile handsets
Writing test cases
Requirements
More than 1 year of experience with quality assurance, test procedures and software/product testing
BS or MS in computer science or equivalent
Knowledge of network protocols
Good knowledge of end-user browser behavior
Experience using ECMAScript and knowledge of its specifications
Experience with more than one operating system
Ability to communicate in English (both written and oral). Other languages are a plus.
Excellent skills in (X)HTML and CSS web standards
Understanding of Internet security
