SUSE Kernel QA Engineer
Main responsibilities
*Timely definition, documentation and implementation of test criteria in working together with the SUSE engineering teams, other Novell teams as well as Partners.
*Construct and maintain automation test environments and tools on source codes.
*Execution of software tests(Regression/Performance/Function testing and so on).
*Development of test software for new technologies on demand.
*Maintenance and improvements of existing test tools.
*Ongoing evaluation of new test tools.
*Integration of new test tools into existing test harnesses.
Profile
*Graduation as IT Specialist or similar qualification.
*Strong programming skills in script languages (e.g. perl, python, shell).
*Knowledge of C or other programming languages is a plus.
*Good knowledge of Unix and Linux operating systems(system testing tools– LTP, tiobench and so on ).
*Experience with debugging of systems and applications.
*Fluent in verbal and written English.
*Full-Time/Regular.
