Qualifications:
? A minimum of 2-5 plus years experience in fast-paced, highly automated product test environment where the devices under test are IP based network systems including routers and switching systems.
? The successful candidate will possess recent experience working with high-end routers in a network testing environment with various vendors' switches and hubs such as those manufactured by Cisco, Juniper, Nortel, Foundry, Hua Wei or Extreme.
? Must have experience in configuring, testing, and troubleshooting Layer 2/3 switches and routers and be familiar with formal test methodologies, i.e. product and system level testing. Have validated various IP networking protocols such as RIP, OSPF, BGP4, ISIS, PIM. Strong understanding of Layer two functions such as bridging / Spanning Tree, VLAN, etc.
? Must be capable of reviewing design documents and formulating test plans, test procedures, and test cases including writing and debugging automated test scripts written in TCL language.
? Ability to effectively communicate with all team members and the management team any product failures and defects (verbal and written communication).
? Must have operational experience using Windows, Linux, and Solaris operating systems.
? Familiar with various network test equipments i.e. SmartBits, Adtech, or similar test equipment is a plus. Hands on network analysis tools such as Sniffer, Etherreal, HP, or similar.
? MS CS or equivalent. Proficient in speaking and writing English
? Certificate in SCPT/SCPA/SCPE is a big plus
