Zynga is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager with strong leadership abilities and excellent organizational skills. The candidate must have experience in resource allocation and estimates, change management, risk analysis and have an extensive background in consumer, gaming and Internet based software technologies. This person must be able to work in a fast paced environment and have previous experience managing medium to large teams of Quality Assurance testers.
Responsibilities:
Define quality procedures in conjunction with operating staff;
Identify relevant quality-related training needs and delivering training;
Ensure tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated
Supervise staff in carrying out tests and checks;
Bring together staff of different disciplines and driving the group to plan, formulate and agree upon comprehensive quality procedures;
Required Skills:
5-8 years QA Management experience, preferably in gaming or internet technologies
2-3 Years experience working with outsource partners, managing and maintaining the quality and budgetary requirements
3- 5 Years experience promoting quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the organization;
Maintaining awareness of the business context and company profitability, including budgetary control issues
Experience working closely with Customer Service groups
Excellent spoken and written English
QA Engineer
Zynga is looking for a senior level QA Engineer to aid in developing our automated test strategy for the launch of a variety of games. If you have a solid understanding of test case development then we want to see your application.
Responsibilities:
· Plan, design, and implement regression tests in such a way that they are re-usable and flexible
· Work closely with both product and software engineers to help ensure the reliability of our applications
· Test our product with relentless passion
· Maintain and extend our existing automation scripts
· Create QA test plan for very large projects, including time estimates and resource planning
· Break down a product into test cases with solid coverage
· Report defects and follow up on them through resolution
· Report on release readiness base on test coverage and success rates
· Be a strong team player as well as strong individual contributor
Required Skills:
· Business fluency in Japanese, English, and Mandarin Chinese
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in QA white/black box testing and done automations to cover regressions for at least 2 products before
· Knowledge of Java and SQL programming
· Prior experience using Selenium
· Ablity to test components with minimal supervision and under pressure
· Comfort with Linux environment
· Ability to be both a strong team player and individual contributor
Nice to Have:
· BS or advanced degree in Computer Science or equivalent
· Experience working on a high-traffic site
