Responsibilities
Review the process, procedures, and software applications.
Participate in preparing requirements and specifications of software product development and project implementation.
Create and manage test cases, test plans and automatic test scripts for software applications.
Coordinate with project manager to define error handling, user interface messages and production globalization.
Coordinate with software developers and aviation domain experts to create the style guide for airline XML documents as well as perform QA on the XML content.
Perform unit testing, and system integration testing.
Perform regression testing.
Manage problem tracking and coordinate problem resolution.
Coordinate with software developer on user interface design to improve usability.
Coordinate with project manager in software releases and installation and configuration procedures.
Requirements
B.S. in C.S., E.E., or related field with 4 or more years of testing and QA experience.
Familiar with software development process, software applications and testing.
Programming experience in VC++, Java, user interfaces, and Internet Explorer-based software applications.
Experience with Web Application Servers such as Tomcat, WebSphere or WebLogic.
Experience in test management, test cases, test plans, and automated test scripts.
Knowledge of SGML/XML and DTD/Schema a plus.
Experience with Arbortext products such as Arbortext Editor and Publishing Engine a plus.
