RobotJ and XDE Tester were the names of previous versions of Rational Functional Tester.
The differences between Rational Functional Tester and Robot are:

About two years ago Rational introduced RobotJ which has later been renamed to XDE Tester and now again to Functional Tester. The difference between good old Robot and Functional Tester is the scripting language and the development environment.
