You will be responsible for writing and executing test cases for the functionalities of Symantec endpoint security products, including but not limited to firewall, intrusion protection, intrusion detection signature libraries. You will also be assisting the software developers and customer support staff to reproduce customer reported issues from time to time. You will find and report product defects in the bug tracking software and frequently review the status of the bugs filed by you, and ensure the bug status up-to-date until the bug is closed. You may be requested to give presentations to share the information about the work you do to your team. You will be submitting weekly work status reports to your supervisor.
Requirements :
1-2+ years experience in SQA, development, IT applications support, or customer support capacity plus the following:
- knowledge about the firewalls
- knowledge about the tcp/ip
- knowledge about client/server computing software
- test automation background is a big plus
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experiences.
