Responsibilities
• Determine the test strategy and design test plan
• Create, maintain and extend the test infrastructure; develop test automation framework
• Effectively design, implement and maintain detailed automated tests cases and scripts from test plans, engineering discussions and functional specifications
• Troubleshoot test case and test harness infrastructure failures
• Analyze test run results and report bugs
• Actively contribute for the improvement of quality assurance process
Education and Experience:
• BS, MS in Computer Science or closely related field, plus at least 7, 5 years relevant experience, depending on the degree
• Have experience leading QA projects through full software development life cycles
• Ability to translate software system architectures into an integrated approach to software testing including functional test, integration test, system test, performance test, load test, stress test, scalability test, etc.
• Have experience with storage and file systems
• Knowledge of HA, clustering and virtualization technology is highly desirable
• Knowledge of additional storage protocols, I/O subsystems, and/or device drivers a plus
• Experience in Linux/Unix administration, knowledge about TET, indexing, MS Windows file system, security or Linux kernel is desirable
• Knowledge of agile development methodology, continuous integration/build, QA experience in agile development environment is a plus
• Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and work independently; strong sense of urgency
• Strong leadership and inter-person skills
