Main Purpose of the Role and Key Responsibilities:
- Perform Terminal IOT and e2e functional testing between NSN TD-LTE NW implementation and new and existing Terminals
- Perform Terminal IODT and functional testing mainly between NSN TD-LTE systems and some pre-selected terminal or chipset vendors
- Perform Software and hardware upgrade as well as configuration of the NSN TD-LTE elements to meet IOT requirements
- Perform analysis, design and review test plan and test case with vendors and customers, write test specifications, perform testing and troubleshooting, and reporting.
Requirements:
- Many years of experience in working with telecommunication open standards (3GPP, IETF, ETSI).
- Multiple years of experience in testing of UMTS and IP networks and analytical problem solving skills are needed. Experience in LTE/TD-LTE is a plus.
- Multiple years of experience in test case development and test planning.
- Multiple years of hands-on experience in UMTS/LTE network elements.
- Very strong experience testing radio network system testing, analyzing protocols stacks using protocol analyzer tools.
- Very strong understanding of radio interfaces and other key critical interfaces, protocols, and architecture of 3GPP network.
- Strong working knowledge of and experience with IP networking protocols such as IPv4 and IPv6 and Internet technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, Radius, Diameter) is a plus.
- Experience in any of the following skills will be an additional asset: Mobile IP, GTP and other network mobility protocols.
- Multiple years of technical experiences in the area of e2e system verification is a plus.
- Many years of experience configuring and integrating GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/LTE and IP networks products in multivendor environment is a plus

Business Unit Description:
NSN IOT Unit is a cross-functional entity organized in Network Systems (NWS) under LTE Radio Access Business Line. The unit has overall responsibility for IOT communication and management within NSN. It has a mandate to provide interoperability service to all Business Lines with the goal of improving product quality and end-user satisfaction.
NSN IOT focuses on two main functional areas Network IOT and Terminal IOT. Inter-Operability Testing is a bilateral activity carried out between two vendors aiming to verify interoperability on the open standardized and critical interface between two network elements (Network IOT) or between network elements and terminals (Terminal IOT). These IOT activities are performed according to the industry wide principles and processes in vendor labs for generic SW releases that have major impact on open and critical interfaces mostly prior to software general availability.
