The role is based in the Shanghai but will involve working closely with colleagues based in locally and in USA. We require individuals who can be self-motivated to deliver individual projects as well as participating in wider project teams.
A Software Automation Engineer provides QTP tool expertise and guidance to project groups and other members in the QA team. To fulfill this role, the candidate will:
• Provide analytical leadership on functional requirements
• Having a clear understanding on on-boarding process for software test automation
• Ensure proper delivery, compliance to QA standards and processes
• Actively be involved in continuous process improvement so as to achieve operational excellence
• Be proactive and able to think out of the box in solution to obstacles encountered during automation planning and execution
Required Qualifications
• 3-6 years experience in hands-on software QA experience with enterprise level products
• In-depth knowledge and experience with software testing and QA processes/artifacts
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
• Fast learner, quality conscious and committed to deadlines
• Demonstrated automation experience with Mercury QTP
• Experience with Test Director or other equivalent defect/test case management tool
• Being able to provide thought leadership and guidance to other QA members in the team
• Being able to multi-task projects effectively is an essential quality
