Job description
Employees in this role work throughput a product life cycle. They work with product planners and owners to establish measureable performance goals which meet market requirements. They design and implement workloads reflecting actual customer usage patterns, then request measurements and do analysis to verify that the product's performance goals are met. They work closely with development on design and implementation enhancements and make tuning recommendations to improve software performance. In addition, they develop and provide capacity planning and investigation guidance and tools to Sales and Support.
Required
Bachelor's Degree
At least 3 years experience in at least one programming language (Java or C/C++)
At least 2 years experience in scripting language (Perl, Python or Rexx)
At least 3 years experience in Operating System: Unix (AIX, Solaris, Linux, HP/UX) or Windows
At least 3 years experience in Database: DB2, Oracle, SQL Server (expert in one of above)
At least 3 years experience in performance testing
At least 2 years experience in technical leader/ Software PM
English: Fluent

Preferred
Master's Degree in Information Technology
At least 4 years experience in at least one programming language (Java or C/C++)

Ideal Candidate:
1. Diagnose problems and resolve the issues.

5. More than 5 years of software engineering with hands-on experience.
