Key Job Responsibilities:
• Perform System Validation Test (SVT) role on integrated hardware and software test solutions for wireless communication products.
• Perform System Level QA role on integrated systems prior to releasing software components to customers.
• Define and document detailed test plans and procedures.
• Write clear and concise test reports summarizing overall system performance and identifying potential issues.
• Work closely with FAEs to reproduce system level issues reported by customers and perform initial system-level troubleshooting.
• Work closely with software developers to define and carry out in-depth software unit testing.
• Maintain a SVT data archiving process that clearly links test results to system/software releases, accessible to others and for retrieval later if necessary.
• Ability to flourish in a highly motivated team environment.
Qualifications:
• BSEE required, MSEE a plus
• 2+ years SVT/SQA experience
• Skilled at developing detailed test plans and test procedures and carrying them out.
• Ability to write detailed test reports that summarize the results and identify potential issues.
• Excellent system level troubleshooting, analysis and problem solving skills.
• Hands-on experience making RF/system level measurements per governing specifications and standards.
• Experience working with system and/or software bug tracking tools like Jira.
• Well organized and structured way of working.
• Fluent with operating RF/system level test equipment such VSAs, VSGs, SAs, SGs, O-scopes, Power Meters, Vector and Scalar NA, Wireless Communication testers, etc.
• Experience using RF and wireless test and measurement equipment.
• Prior experience using automated RF test systems. Prior experience writing automated test programs a plus.
• Familiar with the RF PHY requirements of the following wireless communications standards:
802.11abgn WLAN
802.15 Bluetooth 2.x, 3.x
802.16 WiMAX
GPS
FM
Cellular GSM/GPRS/EDGE, EVDO/HSDPA, LTE
NFC
• Conversant in written and spoken English

Job Description: RF Test SW AE(Application
Engineer)
Description:
You will be developing and validating software solutions for growing
WLAN, MIMO, BT, FM, GPS, NFC and WiMAX market. You will have
the opportunity to develop test programs as R&D and production target
for various chipset companies, ODM's and OEM's on a worldwide basis.
You will work as manufacture automatic test software developer and field
application support engineer. We focus on RF testing.
Responsibility:
--Design, develop and validate RF turnkey manufacture testing software
for WLAN, Wimax, Bluetooth, and other wireless technologies;
--You will need to verify the RF chip and product, check functionality
and performance, analyze results, and develop measurement algorithm;
--Work closely with chipset companies, ODM's and OEM's to provide
software test solutions and field support;
--Perform build, test, release, installation, and documentation to deploy
the software;
--Develop and implement test plans, test procedures and test cases
Independently control the full development lifecycle from
implementation to test, debug and enhancement
-- Providing technical support, demonstrations and debug of end customer
products;
-- Providing technical training to sales channels and distributors;
-- Effectively communicate customer feedback to design team;
Qualifications:
- - Master degree major in CS, EE or related discipline, At least 3 years
working experience of instrument control in wireless communication
field ;
-- Bachelor degree with 5+ years’ related work experiences;
--At least two years working knowledge of GUI, API development using
Visual C++, preferable .NET environment
-- Good knowledge in RF and mobile communication technique;
--Testing knowledge of TX/RX Gain Stages, TX Masks, TX/RX
Calibration, Insertion and Return Loss, Phase Matching, Spurious output
signals, DC Current, etc. ;
-- Experience with design and implementation of wireless testing
software capable of testing WiMax, WiFi, etc. is a plus.
--Utilize test equipment including spectrum analyzers, VSAs, VSGs,
sweep generators, and other standard test equipment as part of
development and verification is a plus;
--Able to work independently and complete project schedule under press
on schedule. Excellent troubleshooting, analysis and problem solving
skills;
-- Ability to speak/read/write/present in English clearly for both internal
and customer communications at a technical level.
--Willing to learn new technologies, self-motivated, passionate about
software development with high technical competency
-- Good team work spirit, easy to cooperate with customers and team
members;
-- Excellent verbal and written communication skill;
--Able to travel internationally and locally;
