Job Description
The management software QA engineer take parts in a multi-discipline team working on management software products and solutions. You'll be a part of an exciting team that designs and implements management software for HP systems. In this position, you will be highly involved in testing management software on HP hardware and operating environments.
Education:
Bachelor’s on computer science, information technology, engineering, math, physics, etc.
Experience required (MUST)
• 2+ years software QA experience
• 1+ years Linux experience
• working experience with cross-functional teams
Knowledge required (MUST)
• Shell, Python or other scripting languages
• Linux admin
• Software troubleshooting
• Knowledge on software engineering in software development and testing
• Fluent both in written English, good team communication
Knowledge (Would-like-to-have):
• Knowledge on the server hardware and management hardware
• IPMI,SNMP/WBEM admin experience
• Experienced in multi-nation environment
• 1+ years experience on management software. Be familiar with IPMI, and SNMP/WBEM standard.
• 1+ years of hardware related projects experience, especially on management hardware systems, like BMC, iLO.
