Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
·Perform test execution, including functional (front-end and back-end), regression and integration tests
·Write manual test cases/matrixes
·Create test plans and test strategies
·Report issues and create status reports
·Work closely with Development team to isolate and resolve bugs/issues
Skills and Abilities Needed:
·Solid understanding of QA methodology and process
·Strong bug writing skills
·Excellent written and oral communication skills
·Ability to work effectively in a team environment
·Experience in functional testing, regression testing, GUI testing and defect management
·Understanding of software development life cycle
·Good understanding /working knowledge of HTML and SQL
·Experience in Unix Scripting and XML
·Knowledge of Java is a +
·Excellent analysis skills and attention to details
Education and Experience:
·5+ years software QA experience, experience in an E-Commerce environment is a plus
·BSCS, BSEE degree or equivalent required
