Perform test execution, including functional (front-end and back-end), regression and integration tests
Use white box and black box testing methods
Create test scopes, plans and test strategies
Write manual test cases/matrixes
Execute and maintain automation scripts
Report issues and create status reports
Work closely with Development team to isolate and resolve bugs/issues
Execute testing tasks and report status, escalate issues as appropriate
Coordinate and lead efforts for group testing on a project basis
Proactively escalate/solve problems, suggest process improvements.
Identify project risks and recommend actions to minimize risk.
Job Requirements:
Must Have
Bachelor degree or equivalent required
3-5 years software QA experience in an E-Commerce environment
Competency in PL/SQL is required as well as a good understanding of related database
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Knowledge of Unix
Knowledge & Experience
Solid knowledge of QA methodologies, test documentation and project planning
Experience in Unix Scripting and XML
Experience in functional testing, regression testing, GUI testing and defect management
Experience in designing, developing and maintaining automated test suites
Experience in white box/grey box testing
Automation experience using Mercury products
Good understanding /working knowledge of HTML and SQL
Perfer
Familiarity with Java, XML, ISAPI, HTML, XSL, JS and basic Windows/UNIX system administration desired.

Proposing and researching automation tools, scripts, and processes to improve functional testing
Involve in the new tool development, or enhancement of the existing tools the Automation Team owns

Required Skills
