Responsibility:
For Cognos Ottawa, the project manager is responsible for general project management, monitoring engineers' velocity, reporting status, and escalating issues to Cognos Ottawa.
For Symbio, the project manager is responsible for fostering mutual respects and promoting positive relationship with the client, IBM Cognos. In addition, the PM will report any issues, which are related to the team operation, to his/her second line manager.
Job description:
General Project Management (80%):
Monitor engineers' velocity
Track the Project status
Report and escalate issues to the client
Provide solutions and suggestions to the client for consideration.
General Client Relations Management (20%):
Set up and maintain the communication channel with clients
Client development activities
Required:
At least 2 years experience in Localization
At least 1 year experience in Project Management (Team Size > 4)
Basic knowledge in L10N & I18N is preferred.
Experience with Client development is preferred.
English: Fluent
