Read the Student Guides, follow setup instructions carefully, and perform the lab exercises in the Student Workbook. Note any instructions that are unclear, any unexpected results, and any defects. Make suggestions for improvement of the courseware.
After testing several courses, become familiar enough with the content to provide e-mail support to self-study students in the Virtual Lab environment. Logistics for this phase will be determined later.
Follow test instructions and lab exercises carefully.
Clearly explain any results or instructions that need improvement, capturing these notes on the test form provided.
Make constructive suggestions for resolution or improvement where appropriate.
Escalate (to the Project Manager) any issues that could delay the progress of the test.
Clearly differentiate any local issues, such as power outages or system problems, that could affect the test results.
Qualifications
Good comprehension and facility with written English.
1-3 years working with large content management system a plus.
Attention to detail.
Basic knowledge of Windows (Unix a plus).
Ability to quickly assimilate new information and exercise good judgment.
