Responsibilities:
• Lead a test team up to 8 people
• Report to Project Manager
• Interact with U.S. client in gathering requirements, scheduling, resolving issues, and reporting status
• Work with the team to create test plan and test cases
• Guide the team to automate test cases in Selenium, C#, or other scripting tools
• Review code/documents of team members
• Possibly hands on creating test plan and test cases, or automating test cases
• Assign tasks and monitor progress
• Prepare metrics for projects/team
• Review performance of team members
Qualifications:
• At least 5 years of recent experience in the testing/development area or equivalent
• At least 2 years of project management or team management experience, or lead a project/team to ship at least one successful project
• Exposure to testing large scale transactional systems
• Ability to estimate work efforts and allocate tasks to team members
o Must be able to make adjustments to schedules and efforts to accommodate project changes
• Ability to track project progress and effectively report status on a regular basis
• Must be able to interact with English speaking client
o Strong oral English (speaking and listening)
o Must have good written English grammar
• Must have proven familiarity with various testing phases and methodologies
• Must be able to write test plans and detailed test case documentation
• Must be able to understand and translate functional requirements/specifications into test cases
• Excellent problem solving and strong communication skills
• Must be proficient with at least one programming language, e.g. C++/C#, Java
• Strong understanding of data models and relational databases
• SQL queries & stored procedures and XML is required
• Knowledge of other Internet related technologies, web services, and testing complex internet applications and services is required
• Experience in writing automation scripts like Selenium/Rational Robot is a plus
• White-box testing with C# or Java experience is a plus
