Platform / Server QA Engineer
Responsibilities:
• Help to develop and execute test plans and test cases for the Critical Path suite of Solutions.
• Help to develop & execute automated and manual functional tests based on project
documentation and functional requirements
• Analyse, document, and report test findings using Critical Path's defect reporting tool
• Review, Analyse and respond to requirement documents. Provide a user perspective
on the products.
Requirements Essential:
• At least 2 years relevant work experience, in similar QA roles.
• Experience in the areas of automation, stability and performance testing.
• Ability to program one of Perl, python, shell, awk, jmeter
• Ability to automate test cases using a range of CP and industry standard automation
harnesses and tools
• Excellent UNIX skills, especially Solaris &RedHat Linux
• Ability to work under pressure to deadlines, working with other departments & QA
teams
Advantage to have:
• Knowledge of Internet & Messaging Protocols such as SMTP, POP, IMAP, LDAP,
SNMP, SMPP, SyncML, HTTP
• Experience with Anti-Virus & Anti-Spam solutions
