Participate in the testing analysis, co-ordination of test execution, and providing expert knowledge of testing to projects in which QA in engaged
Ensure that applications tested are satisfied with the acceptance criteria before releasing to subsequent levels of testing or production
Identify/develop test cases and testing scripts appropriate to the project
Prepare QA documentation-criteria for success, test strategy, test plan, defect management plan
Qualifications:
Senior QA Analyst: Minimum 4 years working experience in software development QA
QA Analyst: Minimum 2 years working experience in software development QA
Hand-on working experience with Automated Software Testing tools such as Borland SilkTest(Be able to install software,configure,code and compile the test scripts etc)
Knowledge of QA processes and methodologies
Familiar with manual and automated testing approaches
Familiarity with regression test philosophy
Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
Recent experience with a variety of Windows systems or Windows based application testing
Solid experience testing Windows GUI-based applications, written in C++ or Visual Basic
Strong PC skills
Self motivated with the ability to learn quickly
