The SUSE Quality Assurance department has teams located in the people
republic of China, the Czech Republic and Germany. The QA teams work in
close collaboration with all departments in SUSE Engineering. Together
they pursue a high overall quality to provide the customers with
topnotch SUSE Linux products.
Responsibilities:
* Timely definition, documentation and implementation of test criteria in working together with the SUSE engineering teams, other teams as well as Partners
* Construct and maintain automation test environments and tools on source codes
* Execution of software tests
* Development of test software for new technologies on demand
* Maintenance and improvements of existing test tools
* Ongoing evaluation of new test tools
* Integration of new test tools into existing test harnesses
Required Skills and qualification:
* Graduation as IT Specialist or similar qualification
* Strong programming skills in script languages (e.g. perl, python, shell)
* Knowledge of C or other programming languages is a plus
* Good knowledge of Unix and Linux operating systems
* Experience with debugging of systems and applications
* Experience with SUSE product is a plus
* Open Source Community engagement is a plus
* Fluent in verbal and written English
