Oracle Big Data Discovery is an end-to-end product for visual analysis of Big Data, built natively on Hadoop. It transforms raw data into business insight in minutes, without the need to learn complex products or rely only on highly specialized resources, so more people can extract more value from Big Data.
Major Responsibilities:
• Participate in automation framework constructing, build highly maintainable functions and libraries
• Design and develop automation test cases and gathering test data needed for automation
• Execute and analyze automation test results, document, track and escalate issues as appropriate
• Work closely with other automation engineers to leverage existing framework and tools
• Participate in troubleshooting of issues to drive towards root cause identification and resolution
• Work with other development teams in agile, iterative design and development
• Consistently strives to improve the way tasks and activities are accomplished meeting quality objectives
Ideal Qualifications:
Proficient in Java programming and Linux shell
Familiar with automation test framework, such as JUnit, TestNG, Selenium or similar technologies
Familiar with Big Data technologies and/or natural language processing
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Good team player
Education:
BS or MS degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Web Systems, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics or other related degree
• Need to be proficient in Unix and Java.
• Test automation experience, preferably with JUnit, TestNG, Selenium, or similar technologies, is required.
• Familiarity with Big Data technologies and/or natural language processing is a strong plus.
