IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: Software Design Engineer/Test Lead

Are you interested in breaking stuff, computer software in particular? Are you passionate about improving software quality and Microsoft products? As a Software Design Engineer in Test at Windows Live Experience Mobile team, an integrated part of Windows Live Experience core product development teams, you will have a direct impact on Microsoft’s future internet and mobile service division. Windows Live Mobile team is located in Shanghai, China. It provides innovation, incubation, design, development expertise for projects across Windows Live.
Windows Live Experience Mobile team is focused on improve and enrich end user experience, when users browse using their devices. We are looking for highly motivated and outstanding Software Design Engineers who love to write automation tests and framework to join our fun and fast moving team. The requirements include deep understanding of Internet services, and Microsoft platform technologies; At least two years of software development and testing experience, with full release cycles of major software and Internet products; great communication and relationship building skills; proven ability to design and implement test automation, write highly detailed and quality-driven technical test specifications, and work with program management, developer, usability, and design to drive product development from conception to release.
The qualifications include demonstrable experience with C/C++/C#, XML, ASP.NET and .NET Frameworks; familiarity with DHTML, SOAP, and XML; previous testing experience; excellent organizational, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills; a BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical equivalent is required.
