Test Architect-- Performance and Capacity Management, 5 HC, SH or DL
1. This role is usually performed by a senior architect specializing in the analysis of system interactions, and their affects on the overall performance relative to the specified requirements and make recommendations for improvements.
2. This role is responsible for examining and evaluating performance, availability / scalability of the applications and drive the optimization / tuning of the functional interfaces to the application infrastructure.
3. They are responsible for designing test strategy, setting the direction for testing, recommending test tools and influencing the selection of test methods that adequately stress the system.
4. They provide technical leadership and assist the Test Manager with test planning.
5. They provide leadership for test design and guidance during test specification development.
6. They act as a mentor and coach, participates in team meetings, and create Intellectual Capital assets for reuse

1. This role is usually performed by a senior architect specializing in the testing of large enterprise wide applications, with experience in defining E2E test solutions.
2. They are responsible for translating the client\'s business requirements into specific system, application, or process designs for very large, complex or leading-edge solutions.
3. They specialize in functional and/or non-functional testing. Responsibilities include designing the test strategy, setting the direction for testing, recommending test tools and frameworks, and outlining test environment and test data needs.
4. They provide technical leadership for all test activities and assist Test Managers with test planning. They provide leadership for test design and guidance during test specification development.
5. They act as a mentor and coach to project teams, participate in team meetings, and create Intellectual Capital assets for reuse.
6. They participate in the development and enhancement of test offerings, methodologies, test tools, and frameworks for automation for functional and non-functional test execution and reporting.
