Testing-3 Why do bugs occur

还是那句老话,大部分单词可以根据单词意思得到整句话的理解,并且不会有太大出入。个别不符合中文语法习惯的语句意义我已经帮大家译出。加油咯~
Now that you know what bugs are,you might be wondering why they occur(出现).What you'll be surprised to find out is that most of them aren't caused(产生) by programming.Numerous(大量) studies have been performed on very small to extremely(极度,非常) large projects and the results are always the same. The number one cause of software bugs is the specification.    These are several reasons specifications are the largest bug producer.英文的语句顺序关系,按照我们的习惯可以翻译成需求规格说明书书引入缺陷最多,有以下几个原因。In many instances(情况,例子) a spec simply isn't written.Other reasons may be that the spec isn't thorough enough,it's constantly(持续)changing,or it's not communicated well to the entire development team.Planning software is vitally(极度)important. If it's not done crrectly, bugs will be created.

The next largest source of bugs is the design. This is where the programmers lay out(布局,安排) their plan for the software.Compare it to an architect(建筑师)creating the blueprints(蓝图) for a building.Bugs occur here for the same reason they occur in the specification. It's rushed(匆忙),changed,or not well communicated.

Coding errors may be more familiar to you if you are a programmer.Typically (典型,通常),these can be traced to(追溯) the software's complexity ,poor ducumentation(especially in code that's being updated or revise(评审)),schedule (进度)pressure,or just plain dumb mistakes(低级错误).It's important to note (需要注意的)that many bugs that appear on the surface(在表面上) to be programming errors can really be traced to specification and design errors. It's quite common to hear a programmer say,"Oh,so that's what it's supposed to do.(不就是要实现要求的那个功能吗?)If somebody had just told me that I woundn't have written the code that way.(如果早有人告诉我我就不这么写了)"

The other category is the catch-all(笼统的,包罗万象) for what's left.(剩下)。按照中文的翻译习惯可以理解为:剩下的就是一些笼统的/包罗万象的种类了。Some bugs can be blamed on false positives(误报),conditions(某些情况) that were thought to be bugs but really weren't.There may be duplicate(重复的)bugs, multiple ones (多个)that resulted from the same root cause(同样的根源).Some bugs can also be traced to testing errors. In the end, these bugs (or what once were thought of as bugs) turn out to(结果是,转变为) not be bugs at all and make up a very small percentage of all the bugs reported.
