Game testing
1)C++开发游戏测试工具（3、4人）
2）大型网游测试经验1-2年的（十几人）
SDET
· Function:
o Follow directions from the Lead SDET and develop the tools & automations.
· Skill level needed:
o Equivalent to a Level II software design engineer.
o Ability to write software in visual C++ (visual studio.)
o Familiarity with game programming is a plus.
o Have full computer science degrees.
o Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese.
Leads:
· Function:
o Responsible for a major feature area (eg. server, billing, or systems.)
o Design specific test plans for that area.
o Divide areas among other testers to come up with test cases & review the test cases to make sure it is complete & have sufficient coverage.
· Skill level needed
o Equivalent to a Level II or Level III Tester (about 2 in each level).
o Ability to come up and review test cases for completeness.
o Proficient in spoken & written English and Chinese.
o Critical thinkers to analyze the code & determine automation and tool needs.
o Experience with writing test plan.
o Game Testing Skill Mix:
§ The Gameplay Test lead should have extensive MMORPG testing experience (ideally shipped an MMORPG previously) and a hardcore MMORPG gamer.
§ The System test leads & Server test leads should at least be familiar with game testing in general.
Vendor Tester (STE):
· Number needed: about 10 or 11
· Function:
o Detailed testing plans for a specific area (e.g. PVP or Leveling)
o Design test cases for that specific area & get them reviewed.
o Oversee the execution of test cases (or execute the test cases themselves).
o Communicate with SDETs to determine any tools or automations needed.
· Skill level needed:
o Equivalent to a Level I (5) or Level II Tester (5)
o Ability to define detailed test cases for an area.
o Able to write simple script to execute test cases.
o Engineering degree
o Basic ability to read code.
o Ok in written English.
o Game Testing Skill Mix:
§ The Gameplay Testers (4 of the STEs) should at minimum be a hardcore MMORPG gamer or have extensive MMORPG testing experience.
§ The System Testers & Server Testers (rest of the STEs) should be very familiar with testing processes.
