mantis邮件问题，请教高手解决

MANTIS配置了邮件功能

最近修改问题状态时出现这种问题：
SYSTEM WARNING: fsockopen() : unable to connect to xxx.xxx.xx.x:25 (A connection attempt failed because the connected ** did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.
)

找了半天没找到原因，配置应该没有问题，哪位大哥知道是什么问题，麻烦帮小弟解一下惑:)
