General summary of Duties/Responsibilities:
You will be joining a global team, working closely with colleagues who are based in the UK;you will need to communicate in English both by telephone and email. Our client is a major international investment bank; we develop, maintain and provide consultancy to support their global 24 hour production and testing system databases.
This is an exciting opportunity in one of our most high profile teams. The role can be highly pressured and requires good organisational and communication skills as well as excellent technical skills.
The role is likely to be interesting and very challenging.
Main Responsibilities:
Commitment to ensuring quality in a high pressure critical environment
Provide support to the Production/Testing databases
Recording and updating work items in ticket logging system
Answering hotline queries and providing consultancy to support and development teams
Escalation to client management
Investigation, reporting and possible correction to system failures
Involvement in co-ordinated code deployments
Mandatory Skills:
At least 2 years in Unix Skill, understand and be confident working in Unix environment.
At least 2 years in PL/SQL,understand database principles, capable of forming and understanding database queries.
Oracle 9i/10g relevant DBA type experience in these versions of Oracle showing an understanding of Oracle system
English skills must be good enough to speak confidently to people around the world.
Can demonstrate problem solving skills.
Be innovative and able to design new solutions quickly .
Desirable Skills:
Production /Technical support experience would be an advantage.
Oracle Streams would be an advantage. .

Informatica Support Analyst

You will be joining a global team, working closely with colleagues who are based in the UK； you will need to communicate in English both by telephone and email. Our client is a major international investment bank； we develop, maintain and support their global 24 hour testing system environment.
Main Responsibilities: (Describe in bullet points)
• Provide 24*7 hours support to the SAP System Test Environments of Client.
• Recording and updating incidents/service requests in ticket logging system
• Answering hotline queries
• Investigation, reporting and possible correction to failed batches according to our knowledge base
Mandatory Skills:
At least 2 years in Informatica, Understand the architecture of Informatica and capable of supporting workflow processing
At least 2 years in Unix Skills,Understand and be confident working in Unix environment;
At least 2 years in Database skills,Understand basic database principles, capable of forming basic database queries.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• System Support related experience is essential.
• Demonstrated good understanding Informatica
• Basic UNIX, Oracle and SQL knowledge are required
• Good understanding of Software development
• Commitment to self-improvement and service-improvement.
Desirable Skills(Please describe in bulletin points): SAP experience is an advantage
Level of spoken English: Good, analyst is required to contact client via both email and telephone for discussing and/or reporting purposes.
