> §  5 -10+ years, MS. Deepest understanding of product.

[b]MISSION[/b]
The Senior Software Quality Engineer will manage software validation plans from creation through to test execution control (in liaison with the Project Manager) to enable reliable assessment of the product quality levels.  They will also be responsible for managing regression testing of the software and tracking and monitoring of any defects found through the PL defect management tools and systems during test execution.

[b]ORGANIZATION[/b]
The Senior Validation/Test Engineer will report to a team leader.  They will guide Validation Engineers and be part of a multi disciplinary team within Core Development that delivers releases of the software product roadmap.  

[b]KEY RESPONSIBILITIES[/b]
Under the supervision of a Project Manager and Support manager:
        1、Define quality and validation plan:       
o        Define strategy, quality objectives, test means, schedule
        2、Manage execution of  the plan:
o        allocate task to Software Quality Engineer engineers, technicians and outsourcing companies affected to the project
o        coordinate & support validation engineers, and technicians from PL or outsourcing testing companies  test document writing and test execution
        3、do complex testing & in depth defect analysis to support development engineers in their bug fix
        4、support approval activities       
        5、provide quality and validation product status to project  management
        6、manage bug resolution (organize bug review , follow up on bug resolution, bug base management)
        7、participate in process improvement:
o        analyze weakness of product quality process
o        provide suggestions to improve it

[b]WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS[/b]
Technical expertise:
        Telecom or consumer electronic product Validation or testing
        Software quality engineering

[b]General work experience:[/b]        Experience in SW testing and SW tools management
        Experience as a project teams member
        Experience in technicians/operators management

[b]PERSONAL SKILLS[/b]

        Self motivated
        Positive attitude and positive communication skills
        Attention to detail

[b]MISSION[/b]
The Software quality Engineer will write validation and/or verification test plans and will plan, control and manage the execution of validation/verification tests on the Linux platform.  They will also be responsible for regression testing of the software and tracking and monitoring of any defects found through the PL defect management tools and systems.

[b]ORGANIZATION[/b]
The Software quality Engineer will report to support manager.  They will be part of a multi disciplinary team within customer support team that delivers releases of the software to customers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES[/b]
Under the supervision of a Senior Software Quality Engineer and a Project Manager:
        1、In liaison with PL Senior Software Quality Engineer, create operational non regression test plans
o        Create non regression test plan using PL test case database
o        Coordinate the creation of new test cases by outsourcing companies
o        Create test cases for specific applications
o        Have the plan approved by PL Senior Software Quality Engineer
        2、organize and control  execution of non regression test plans
o        allocate task to test technicians from outsourcing companies
o        coordinate & support test technicians from outsourcing companies
o        perform bug analysis
o        enter bugs in bug tracking system
o        follow up bugs entered by outsourcing companies
        3、communicate results to PL  Senior Software Quality Engineer
o        provide validation product status to project management
o        publish test reports and metrics
        4、review results with PL Senior Software Quality Engineer
        5、participate in process improvement
o        analyze weakness of test plan and test process
o        provide suggestions to improve it
